Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival
Every January, the Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival brings a week of culinary events to Greater Fort Lauderdale. Top local chefs, emerging restaurateurs, and beverage partners take over venues across the county for poolside BBQs, bar competitions, grand tastings on the beach, and intimate chef dinners. A portion of proceeds benefits Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
When Is It?
The festival runs for a full week in mid-to-late January. The 2027 edition is scheduled for January 18–24. Check vlfoodwine.com for the full event lineup and tickets as the date approaches.
What's On
The festival isn't one big event. It's a week of smaller ones, each with its own vibe. Expect beach-side grand tastings, intimate chef's table dinners, bar competitions, cooking demonstrations, and late-night parties. Some events are ticketed individually; others are part of packages. The lineup changes each year, so browse the official site once it's published.

Events are spread across Greater Fort Lauderdale, from beachfront venues to downtown restaurants and hotel pools. Our properties in Plantation and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea are well-placed for getting around to different venues throughout the week.
Tips
- Popular events sell out. Buy tickets as soon as the lineup drops, especially for chef's table dinners and grand tastings.
- January is peak season in South Florida. Book your rental early if you're planning around the festival.
