Palm Beach International Boat Show — March 17–21
The Palm Beach International Boat Show is one of the top five boat shows in the United States, held each March along the Intracoastal Waterway in downtown West Palm Beach. It's known for its concentration of superyachts and megayachts — some of the largest vessels on display at any show in the country.
What to Expect
The show runs March 17–21 each year, spanning over a mile of docks along Flagler Drive. In addition to the in-water displays, there are hundreds of exhibitors covering electronics, gear, and accessories. It draws serious buyers, brokers, and boating enthusiasts from across the world.
Getting There from Fort Lauderdale
West Palm Beach is about 45 miles north of Fort Lauderdale, roughly 50 minutes by car. The Brightline train also connects Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach directly, making it an easy day trip without worrying about parking.
Why Fort Lauderdale Works
Fort Lauderdale sits almost exactly halfway between Miami and Palm Beach, which makes it a smart base if you're planning to hit both the Palm Beach show in March and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in the fall. Two of the world's best boat shows, one home base.
