Miami Open — March 14–28

The Miami Open is one of the biggest tennis tournaments in the world, sitting just below the Grand Slams in prestige. Held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens each March, it draws the full field of top ATP and WTA players for two weeks of high-level tennis in warm South Florida weather.

The Tournament

The Miami Open runs March 14–28 each year. Both the men's and women's draws play simultaneously, so there's always a match worth watching. Session tickets are available for grounds access or specific stadium courts — the later rounds on the main stadium fill up fast.

Getting There

Hard Rock Stadium is in Miami Gardens, about 20 miles south of Fort Lauderdale. Rideshare is the most convenient option; parking is available but fills early on weekend sessions. Plan extra time during the second week when crowds peak.

Fort Lauderdale as Your Base

Staying in Fort Lauderdale gives you beach access and Las Olas dining to fill the days between sessions. The drive to the stadium is straightforward on I-95, and you'll have far more space than anything available near the venue.
