Las Olas Art Fair
Las Olas Boulevard shuts down twice a year for one of South Florida's most popular outdoor art fairs. Hundreds of artists from across the country set up along the boulevard, and the crowds are big but the atmosphere is relaxed.
When
The Las Olas Art Fair runs twice annually: once in January and again in March. Each edition runs over a weekend. Check the official event site for exact dates each year.
Where
Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, between SE 6th and SE 11th Avenues. Plenty of restaurants and bars line the street if you need a break from browsing.
What to Expect
Original paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and mixed media from juried artists. Admission is free, and the fair is open to all ages. Street food and vendors are set up throughout, and the surrounding restaurants are a good excuse to make a day of it.
Tips for Guests
Parking on Las Olas fills up fast. The city garages a block or two off the boulevard are your best bet. Go in the morning if you want to talk to the artists without the afternoon crowds.
