Florida Renaissance Festival
The Florida Renaissance Festival runs every Saturday and Sunday from February through late March at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach. It's one of the longest-running Renaissance festivals in the Southeast, drawing visitors with jousting knights, costumed performers, more than 100 artisan vendors, and a full 16th-century village built inside the park. Our properties in Plantation are about 20 minutes away, making it an easy day trip any weekend of the run.
When Is It?
The festival runs Saturdays and Sundays only, from early February through late March. The 2027 season runs February 6 through March 28. Check ren-fest.com for the full schedule, themed weekends, and tickets.
What's On
Each weekend has a different theme, from pirate weekends to fairy tale days, so repeat visits feel different. The main stage hosts jousting tournaments, comedy acts, and musical performances throughout the day. Artisans sell handcrafted jewelry, leather goods, glasswork, and clothing. Food vendors serve turkey legs, meat pies, and other festival staples alongside mead and ale.
Tips
- Themed weekends are the most popular. Check the schedule and pick one that appeals to your group.
- Costumes are encouraged and many visitors dress up. Kids especially love it.
- Arrive when the gates open to beat the midday crowds and get first pick of the artisan stalls.
- Tickets are available at the gate but buying online in advance saves time.
- The park has limited shade. Bring sunscreen and a hat for the afternoon.
